Die Cast Build: It's almost a widebody

Yesterday, I spent a while learning how to make the widebody kit for the Supra which is now mostly complete apart from one of the rear flairs. It is relatively straight forward but is quite frustrating and fidgety if you haven't done it before. Here is a list of things you'll need if you were to make a kit from scratch:

Modelling clay is the best for making the kit as it dries by itself after around 5 - 10 minutes. I use one that is made by DAS and it seems to be perfect for what I am doing.

Some fine grade sandppaper. Too coarse of a sandpaper can utterly destroy the clay so be careful on what grade you choose!

A bamboo skewer is great for picking off excess clay and the blunt end can be used to help shape the flairs.

Enamel paint in any color you wish is used to paint the interior or body or even just the flairs themselves. It is easier just to spray paint the body instead of brush painting it as there is less chance of runs and it is easier to get an even coat.

The result is this, widebody flairs that look great and are rather similar to Rocket Bunny flairs. I might redesign the rear flairs to be a bit wider and will be painting the car hopefully in the next few days so it should come out pretty great.
