Project Car: We got a Mini!

Yes! we bought a Mini! A 1970 MK3 example that has sat in a barn for a long long time. The car is surprisingly solid for a 46 year old car and should make for a fun and simple (lol) project. We have decided to name the Mini "Whizbox" as it is boxy and will (eventually) go fast.

The car has a lot of it's original parts except for the drivers door which was scavenged for another Mini that was being rebuilt. The first thing we will be doing is stripping down the car and having the whole thing sandblasted so stay tuned...

The engine is the 848 cc "A" series engine that puts out a "thunderous" 34 BHP. That's right, 34 HORSEPOWER!!! The engine hasn't been turned over in a while so we will probably replace it with something better and more powerful.
